Stability & Storage 12 months from date of receipt at -20°C. Do not store at -80°C.
Target Function Serratia marcescens Nuclease A (NucA) is a secreted, magnesium-dependent endonuclease that indiscriminately degrades both DNA and RNA, whether single- or double-stranded, linear, circular, or chromosomal, plasmid or viral, into short 2–5-base oligonucleotides. Recombinant NucA, such as Nuclease, has applications in bio-processing to meet guidelines for host cell DNA and viral DNA clearance, lowering lysate viscosity, improving clarification and chromatography, and cleaning up nucleic-acid contamination in cell-free assays.
